Feeding

Live Bottom Feeder Extruders are designed for uniform, positive feeding of large batches of sticky and difficult-to-handle materials or compounds such as butyl rubber, silicone rubber, mastics, food products and wax compounds that typically do not satisfactorily feed by conventional means.

Our Feeder extruders are designed to handle high viscosity, sticky, large-batch and chunk-feed materials. These machines are particularly useful in the processing of butyl and silicone rubber bales, pigments, and other materials.

All machines are available in carbon or stainless steel and capacities range from 10 lbs. to 5,000 lbs./hr. Hopper size on our Live Bottom designs can be customized to match your mixer batches. Other options are also available such as temperature controlled auger and die design.

Bonnot Extruder sizes are identified by extrusion auger diameter.
